Anemone ready for her first day at school (Ecole L'Anse-au-Sable) last monday. She was nervous on that day, but has apparently made several new friends, including a BFF (best friend forever). Artemisia starts preschool this week.

Kalamalka lake

Fun at Kalamalka Lake today. But very smokey. A bunch of fires in the Okanagan and the smoke has settled in Kelowna.

Visitors from Guelph

Jen, Maggie, and Evan arrived for a visit. Off to the Gyro beach we go.

Ok done. Now just waiting for the pea gravel to arrive. It took 3 days to build, not 8 hours as was advertized on the box. 8 hours? maybe with a crew of 4 construction workers...
