The Hat

Spent last night in Winnipeg. Today I drove through Saskatchewan and into Alberta. The prairie is gorgeous. The first part was flat, but then the rolling hills between Regina and the Alberta border were mesmerizing. and the Big sky! Here's a pic from old town Medicine Hat. Very pretty small city. Miranda has fond memories of the Hat from when she was a kid. Looks like a great place to live. 

Lake Superior

My drive from Sault Ste. Marie to Thunder Bay, along the north shore of Lake Superior. Largest freshwater lake in the world. I couldn't see the other side. My first experience in the Canadian Shield. Just beautiful.
