Bastille Day (French National Holiday) is being celebrated at the Brandenburg gate. An appropriate place (for the french that live in Berlin) to celebrate, I think, as the gate is also a symbol of freedom, especially in 1989 when the Berlin wall collapsed. The Brandeburg gate was part of the berlin wall.

It looks pretty packed there!
BTW - Are you guys getting any work done there? *WINK*
work?
today I started the day with a meeting that involved chatting for 2 hours over cake, then it was time for lunch with a visitor from Holland, then to a beergarden for wheat beer, then it was time for dinner (with beer), then ice cream, and then home.
But I was tired in the end, so I like to call it work.
